World Majorettes Cup 2021
This year, the eighth year of the World Majorette Sports Championship and the second year of the World Cup took place in Prague, in the modern environment of the Královka hall. The championship was held under the auspices of the Mayor of the Capital City of Prague, Dr. Zdeněk Hřib and with the financial support of the municipality.
In a difficult situation associated with an extraordinary measure caused by the covid pandemic, the organizers managed to made this wonderful sporting event in the postponed period of 21.10 – 23.10. 2021. Every sports day was broadcast live, online. On Saturday, October 23, 2021, a live television broadcast was held from 4 pm to 5.40 pm on ČT sport.
The whole competition took place in a calm atmosphere and despite the fact that the sports halls were closed and the sports ground training was not possible, the sports performances were relatively high!
I thank all the majorettes, instructors, choreographers, all clubs and also the jury headed by the main judge Monika Bergerová and the whole implementation team, main boss of competition the IFMS vice-president Marta Pavelková, for the smooth running of the competition.
The date of the next year is set for 25. -27.08.2022. Come show off your competition sets. Performance measurement and international comparison is the best motivation. If you are not indifferent to the further development of majorette sports, we can send it together all over the world and give children the joy of movement, medals and shared experiences and knowledge of the capital of a small republic in the heart of Europe, Prague.

V Praze, v moderním prostředí haly Královka, se letos konal osmý ročník Mistrovství světa v mažoretkovém sportu a druhý ročník Světového poháru. Mistrovství se konalo pod záštitou primátora hlavního města Prahy Dr. Zdeňka Hřiba a za finanční podpory magistrátu.
V nelehké situaci spojené s mimořádným opatřením způsobeným pandemií covidu se pořadatelům podařilo uskutečnit tuto nádhernou sportovní akci v odloženém termínu 21.10 – 23.10. 2021. Každý sportovní den byl vysílán živě, online. V sobotu 23. října 2021 se konal přímý televizní přenos od 16 do 17:40 na ČT sport.
Celá soutěž probíhala v klidné atmosféře a přesto, že sportovní haly byly uzavřeny a trénink na sportovišti nebyl možný, sportovní výkony byly poměrně vysoké!
Děkuji všem mažoretkám, lektorům, choreografům, všem klubům a také porotě v čele s hlavní rozhodčí Monikou Bergerovou a celému realizačnímu týmu, hlavní šéfce soutěže viceprezidentce IFMS Martě Pavelkové, za hladký průběh soutěže.
Termín dalšího ročníku je stanoven na 25. -27.08.2022. Přijďte se pochlubit soutěžními sety. Měření výkonu a mezinárodní srovnání je nejlepší motivací. Pokud vám není lhostejný další rozvoj mažoretkového sportu, můžeme ho společně poslat do celého světa a dopřát dětem radost z pohybu, medaile i společné zážitky a poznání hlavního města malé republiky v srdci Evropy, Prahy .
