Almaty in Kazakhstan
Although the journey to the distant city of Almaty in Kazakhstan was long, it allowed me to sit on the jury together with the other judges and thus see the performance of our disciplines such as solo pom-pom and solo baton in a completely different presentation. It is necessary to note that the girls in this region have incredible flexibility and in many cases also great expressiveness.
Unfortunately, the purity of the technique of execution is already lagging in many cases, but it is possible to train it and become a great competition for Czech girls. The discipline of drumming and show was also on display, which is not represented in our country, but it has its place here and is suitable for younger girls who have the opportunity to learn to perceive rhythm better thanks to drumming.
I believe that the girls from this region will become equal competitors at our World Championship and will represent their country here in an exemplary manner.

On March 20, 2025, we flew with our girls from LEXY Kroměříž to Kazakhstan to participate in the 10th Asian Championships on March 23, 2025.
A lady from the local organizers was waiting for us in the arrival hall of the Almaty International Airport. She arranged a transfer to our accommodation, took us for breakfast and was available to us all morning.
During our days spent in Almaty, we visited Mount KOK TOBE, which offers a beautiful view of the entire city of Almaty. Since we were there at a time when the locals celebrated the arrival of spring, we witnessed many of their rituals, including a special drink that was available on every corner. We also saw the local market and the Old Square. We then took a local bus to visit the Medeu winter ski resort, where there is also a speed skating stadium, and although it was really hot in the city, there was snow.
The local people were very nice to us and willing to help at any time.
At the competition we also saw disciplines that we don’t have here – drums and show. Just as the majorettes from Asian countries admired the costumes of the Czech team, batons and flags, we could admire their traditional look of costumes and perfect proportions. The entire Czech team performed very well and the girls took home beautiful gold medals, which they collected in several competition disciplines and categories. For our team LEXY Kroměříž, it was specifically 8x gold placements.
Kazakhstan was an interesting experience for us and we are glad that we were able to participate.

Přestože cesta do dalekého města Almaty v Kazachstánu byla daleká, umožnila mi usednout do poroty spolu s ostatními porotkyněmi a tím vidět předvedení našich disciplín jako sólo pom-pom a sólo baton ve zcela jiném podání. Je nutné podotknout, že dívky v tomto kraji oplývají neskutečnou ohebností a v řadě případů i skvělým výrazovým podáním.
Bohužel však čistota techniky provedení už v řadě případů pokulhává, to je však možné dotrénovat a stát se tak velkou konkurencí pro české dívky. K vidění byla i disciplína bubínky a show, která u nás není zastoupena, zde však má své místo a je vhodná pro mladší dívky, které mají možnost se díky bubnování naučit lépe vnímat rytmus.
Věřím, že se děvčata z tohoto kraje stanou rovnocennou konkurencí na našem Mistrovství světa a budou zde vzorně reprezentovat svůj stát.

Dne 20.3.2025 jsme odletěly spolu s našimi dívkami z LEXY Kroměříž do Kazachstánu, abychom se zúčastnily 23.3.2025 10. mistrovství Asie.
V příletové hale mezinárodního letiště v Almatě nás čekala paní od místních pořadatelů. Ta nám zajistila odvoz na ubytování, vzala nás na snídani a byla nám celé dopoledne k dispozici.
Během našich dnů strávených v Almatě jsme navštívily horu KOK TOBE, ze které je krásný rozhled na celé město Almata. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsme zde byly v termínu, kdy zde místní slavili příchod jara, byly jsme svědky mnoha jejich rituálů včetně speciálního nápoje, který byl k dostání na každém rohu. Viděly jsme i místní tržiště a Staré náměstí. Místním autobusem jsme pak navštívily zimní lyžařské středisko Medeu, kde je i rychlobruslařský stadion, a přestože ve městě bylo opravdu horko byl zde i sníh.
Místní lidé na nás byli velmi milí a ochotní kdykoliv pomoci.
Na soutěži jsme viděly i disciplíny, které u nás nejsou-bubínky a show. Tak jak mažoretky z asijských států obdivovaly kostýmy české výpravy, hůlky i flagy, my jsme mohly obdivovat jejich tradiční vzhled kostýmů a perfektní rozsahy. Celé české výpravě se soutěžní vystoupení moc povedly a holky si odvezly krásné zlaté medaile, které posbíraly hned v několika soutěžních disciplínách a kategoriích. Za náš tým LEXY Kroměříž to bylo konkrétně 8x zlaté umístění.
Kazachstán byl pro nás zajímavou zkušeností a jsme rády, že jsme se mohly zúčastnit.
