Novigrad full of experiences
A small town, but a beautiful resort, Novigrad hosted the majorette sport for four days. The place intended for recreation came alive this way with majorettes, an early evening parade, exhibitions of competition formations and also commemorative original drone photos.
The first surprise was the hall itself. Its structural and technical solution was a surprise for all involved, it is not common for a sports hall to be dug two floors below the surface. And that there is a playground on the roof, so it was another wonder, as well as a large parking lot.
It was perhaps the first hall in which there was no shortage of changing rooms or spaces that replaced changing rooms. The very first day when the II. European Majorette Cup took place, almost 500 competitors were physically present and the dressing rooms were sufficient.
After the arrival of the flags in the opening ceremony and the spoken salutatory speech, the championships was officially opened by the mayor of the city, Mr. Ante Milos, then the anthem of the organizing country was played.
The program was not delayed by anything, it was announced in several blocks so that participants could enjoy the sea, which is only a few minutes’ walking distance from the hall, and the beach, overgrown with blooming oleanders.
The early evening photo shoot of the live sign NOVIGRAD CITANOVA on the coast was definitely a success.
This was followed by a parade through the city with a live band, and after the arrival of the parade into the center then an exhibition with prepared sound and lighting, with a view of the sea. It was definitely an incredible experience not only for the girls, but also for the audience. Despite the fact that the days are long later June, the majorettes performed their performance with enthusiasm until completely got dark, and the audience was full of applause. The final Hurray majorettes floated through the evening city until it was lost in the sea of night.
Nevelké město, ale krásné letovisko Novigrad, po čtyři dny hostil mažoretkový sport. Místo určené pro rekreaci tak ožilo mažoretkami, podvečerním průvodem, exhibicemi soutěžních formací a také památeční originální fotografií z dronu.
Prvním překvapením byla samotná hala. Pro všechny zúčastněné bylo její stavebně technické řešení překvapením, není běžné, že je sportovní hala vyhloubená dvě podlaží pod povrchem. A že je na střeše hřiště, tak to byl další úžas, stejně jako rozlehlé parkoviště.
Byla to snad první hala, ve které nebyla nouze o šatny nebo prostory, které šatny nahrazovaly, a to hned první den bylo fyzicky přítomno dle rozdělovníku pro šatny téměř 500 závodnic.
Program se ničím nezdržoval, vyhlašovalo se ve více blocích, aby si účastníci mohli užít moře, které je v docházkové vzdálenost od haly pouze několik minut a pláže, prorostlé rozkvetlými oleandry.
Podvečerní focení živého nápisu NOVIGRAD CITANOVA na pobřeží se určitě povedlo.
Následoval průvod městem s živou kapelou a po příchodu průvodu do centra pak exhibice s připraveným ozvučením i osvětlením, s výhledem na moře. To byl určitě neskutečný zážitek nejen pro děvčata, ale i diváky. Přesto, že jsou koncem června dlouhé dny, předváděly mažoretky své vystoupení se zápalem až do úplného setmění a diváci nešetřili potleskem. Závěrečné Hoooray majorettes se neslo večerním městem, až se ztratilo v nočním moři.
